SME Accountant and Tax Advisor

About the role

PwC Business Services is looking for a motivated SME Accountant and Tax Advisor to join its Finance Services team in Belgium. You will manage a portfolio of small‑ and medium‑sized enterprise clients, delivering accounting and tax compliance services while supporting their financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file annual accounts, personal income tax, corporation tax and VAT returns for assigned clients.
• Perform additional tasks such as reporting, budgeting, consolidation and support for mergers, acquisitions and valuations as required.
• Advise clients on financial processes, improve accounting procedures and assist with ERP‑related projects.
• Maintain autonomous client relationships and handle all communications independently.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in SME accounting and tax advisory.
• Strong knowledge of tax compliance (personal, corporate, VAT) and financial reporting.
• Ability to work autonomously with diverse clients across various industries.
• Motivated, detail‑oriented and capable of managing multiple client assignments.

• Experience with ERP systems.
