Site Training Supervisor – Dutch speaking

About the role

The Site Training Supervisor will lead the development and continuous improvement of the learning and development strategy for the Bornem site, supporting both operational and support functions. This role ensures that training programmes are aligned with business goals and that the workforce remains future‑proof.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and continuously improve the site training strategy for approximately 500 FTE across operational and support departments.
• Maintain and update training modules for all functions.
• Coordinate qualification and re‑qualification of permanent employees.
• Validate staff knowledge and skills, conduct gap analyses, and adjust programmes accordingly.
• Design and implement a leadership development programme in collaboration with HR and functional leaders.

Required profile

• BSc/MSc in Education & Training, Engineering or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in Learning & Development.
• Fluency in Dutch and English.
• Proven ability to assess training needs and develop practical implementation plans.
• Strong project‑management, strategic thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.

Required skills

• Experience with a Learning Management System (e.g., Cornerstone or similar).
• Technical aptitude to explain practical tasks and tools.
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and adult learning theory.
