Site Reliability Engineer – Kubernetes

About the role

We are looking for a senior professional to own and operate our Kubernetes‑based container platforms. You will ensure the reliability, security, and performance of production clusters while collaborating closely with development and DevOps teams.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, upgrade and maintain Rancher, Tanzu and OpenShift environments.
• Operate and troubleshoot production Kubernetes clusters, nodes and containers.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment using Infrastructure‑as‑Code tools.
• Implement monitoring, logging and observability solutions to guarantee platform availability.
• Manage platform security, including RBAC, network policies, secret handling and workload protection.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, application onboarding and capacity planning.
• Lead migration projects, performance assessments and proof‑of‑concept studies.
• Provide technical training and knowledge‑transfer sessions to internal teams.

Required profile

• At least 8 years of experience in infrastructure or platform administration.
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes architecture and production management.
• Hands‑on experience with Rancher, Tanzu or OpenShift.
• Proven ability to script and automate with Ansible, Python or Bash.
• Solid understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage and security concepts.
