Site Quality Director

About the role

The Site Quality Director leads the quality function on a specific Alstom site, ensuring that all deliveries meet the required quality standards and that the site’s quality culture aligns with corporate objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Quality Action Plan that promotes a "Right First Time" approach and aligns with QCD objectives.
• Embed the Quality Policy within the Site Management Committee and oversee safety and customer‑impact assessments.
• Lead, coach and develop the Site Quality Teams, deploying standard tools, indicators and continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Ensure QMS governance, risk management and compliance with Alstom, customer and ISO 9001 / IRIS / CMMI / ECM standards.
• Monitor and report on key quality KPIs (Demerit, CONQ, FAI, DFQ, Go‑on‑Time, K‑metrics) and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Engineering, General Management or Quality Management.
• Proven experience leading quality functions in a complex, regulated environment, preferably the railway sector.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder‑management skills, with the ability to influence internal and external partners.

Required skills

• APSYS quality management tool.
• ISO 9001, IRIS, CMMI and ECM standards.
• Audit management and internal/external audit execution.
• DFQ Gate Review processes.
• First Article Inspection (FAI) procedures.
