Site Operations Lead – Bilingual (English/French)

About the role

Google’s Data Center team is seeking a seasoned Site Operations Lead who can manage complex electrical, mechanical, and control systems across multiple facilities. The role requires bilingual communication in English and French to support client relationships and regional operations.

Key responsibilities

• Own campus operational budgets, drive expense forecasting and cost‑effective operations.
• Set regional deployment strategies and oversee multiple site implementations.
• Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical, HVAC, power, UPS, and generator systems.
• Provide daily assistance to senior technicians, read blueprints/schematics, and conduct system tours.
• Develop creative approaches to reduce operational costs while improving data‑center efficiency.
• Ensure environmental and safety standards are met and respond to emergencies to minimize outage recovery time.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 12 + years managing technical teams responsible for electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure.
• 5 + years experience developing and managing managers.
• Fluent in English and French for client relationship management.
• Proven ability to collaborate with cross‑functional business units.
