Site Manager – Robotics Automation

About the role

As a Senior Site Manager within ABB Robotics, you will lead the on‑site execution of automation and electrical projects, turning engineered solutions into reliable installations for customers across Europe. You will work closely with the Senior Project Engineer and act as the primary contact on the customer site.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all on‑site activities, ensuring smooth preparation, installation, and commissioning.
• Supervise external suppliers and subcontractors, managing safety introductions and toolbox meetings.
• Ensure compliance with ABB safety rules and local regulations.
• Serve as the main on‑site liaison for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Coach, guide, and allocate work for a team of technicians, monitoring progress and quality.
• Bridge Electrical Engineering designs with on‑site execution, translating engineering intent into practical actions.
• Participate hands‑on in installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning tasks.

Required profile

• Proven experience in managing on‑site automation or electrical projects.
• Strong leadership and team‑coaching abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and subcontractors.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to solve technical issues on site.
