Site Global Planning Director 1

About the role

Alstom is seeking a Site Global Planning Director to lead planning activities at the site level, ensuring the implementation of Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) processes and delivering projects on time. The role oversees tender, program and project planning teams, driving governance, capacity management and workload balance across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the S&OP process and lead Planning & Forecast Meetings.
• Provide accurate workload production and capacity visibility.
• Support transformation initiatives for workload balance.
• Manage tender, program and project planning teams to align execution with business strategy.
• Drive project and bid planning governance to ensure on‑time delivery and contract compliance.
• Oversee configuration and change management, documentation, and performance measurement.
• Ensure rigorous application of Alstom scheduling tools and project planning processes.
• Monitor project milestones, gate reviews, billing and cash flow against baseline forecasts.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in industrial or transportation planning at a senior level.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate cross‑functional teams.
• Proven ability to improve planning processes and embed a planning culture.
• Knowledge of product lines, engineering, sourcing, supply chain and industrial operations.
