Site Engineer – Belgium

About the role

The Site Engineer will support the Construction Management Team in delivering building projects on‑site in Belgium. The role involves setting out, quality control, coordinating site activities and ensuring works meet project specifications, company standards and statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out setting out, levelling and quality control activities, including concrete quality monitoring through cube sampling and slump testing.
• Inspect shuttering, reinforcement and dimensional accuracy prior to concrete pours and maintain accurate material reconciliation records.
• Maintain comprehensive site records such as site diaries, quality documentation and upload relevant information to the Document Management System.
• Supervise directly employed staff and subcontractors involved in various construction processes.
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, quality and operational policies at all times.

Required profile

• Relevant engineering qualification.
• 2–3 years of experience working with a building contractor.
• Strong IT proficiency and good working knowledge of surveying instruments and site equipment.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and solutions‑focused with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
