Site Director – Manufacturing Plant (Gent)

About the role

The Site Director will lead the Gent manufacturing plant, ensuring it meets financial, safety, quality, food‑safety and sustainability targets. You will be the key driver of performance, culture and continuous improvement across all site functions.

Key responsibilities

• Own site key metrics (financial, performance, safety, quality, food safety, sustainability) and drive corrective actions.
• Prepare the annual budget, monitor expenditures, analyse variances and achieve financial objectives.
• Set and track performance against standards in manufacturing efficiency, cost control, legal compliance and HR management.
• Build a strong safety and quality culture, embedding food‑safety mind‑set at every level.
• Develop and implement operating policies with corporate experts to meet CCEP standards.
• Research, evaluate and plan technology, capital and equipment investments to boost production capability.
• Lead union meetings, act as a Works Council member and represent the site in the Belux Supply Chain Leadership Team.
• Coach a high‑performing team of six senior managers and collaborate with logistics, P&C and Finance.

Required profile

• Approximately 10 years of experience in a complex, multinational supply‑chain environment.
• People‑management experience in a unionised setting.
• Strong communication skills and ability to foster a positive social climate.
• Proven knowledge of quality and food‑safety standards in manufacturing.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
