Service Technician – Wind Turbine Maintenance (Belgium)

About the role

We are looking for motivated Service Technicians to install, commission, maintain and troubleshoot wind turbines for Vestas in the Tournai‑Mons‑Charleroi region of Belgium. The role involves working at heights and travelling to various turbine sites to ensure reliable operation and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic testing of wind turbines and components according to work instructions.
• Troubleshoot faults, carry out repairs and replace parts as needed.
• Assemble turbine components using internal or external cranes.
• Execute electrical tasks such as connections, failure analysis and maintenance.
• Carry out mechanical tasks including assembly and upkeep of mechanical parts.
• Coordinate material and service requests with planners and foremen, adhering to quality, safety and environmental standards.

Required profile

• Degree or experience in electricity, mechanics or related field; hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Professional experience in service or maintenance of technical equipment.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office.
• Good English communication skills.
• Valid driver’s licence class B and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Residence within 50 km of Tournai, Mons or Charleroi or willingness to relocate at own expense.
