Service Technician – Onshore Wind Turbines (Belgium)

About the role

Vestas is looking for motivated Service Technicians to install, commission, and maintain onshore wind turbines in the Tournai‑Mons‑Charleroi region of Belgium. You will work on a variety of electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems, ensuring turbines operate safely and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and periodic testing of turbines and components.
• Troubleshoot faults and carry out repairs on electrical, mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• Assemble turbine components using internal or external cranes according to work instructions.
• Execute electrical tasks such as connections, failure analysis and maintenance.
• Carry out mechanical tasks including assembly and upkeep of moving parts.
• Coordinate material and service requests with planners and foremen.

Required profile

• Degree or proven experience in electricity, mechanics or related field.
• Hydraulic experience is a plus.
• Basic proficiency with MS Office.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Valid driver’s licence (class B) and willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
• Residence within 50 km of the Tournai‑Mons‑Charleroi area or willingness to relocate at personal expense.
