SEO & AEO Engineer (Finance, Remote)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced SEO & AEO Engineer to lead end‑to‑end search marketing campaigns for finance‑sector digital assets. The role is fully remote within Belgium and requires immediate availability.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise SEO and AEO strategies for multiple finance clients.
• Develop and align global content strategies with SEO goals to drive conversions.
• Collaborate with developers, content writers, designers and project managers to implement search‑driven content plans.
• Conduct technical SEO audits, on‑page optimisation and maintain search‑engine friendliness.
• Analyse performance data, produce dashboards and actionable reports.
• Stay current with AI‑powered search trends and integrate them into daily work.
• Automate processes and improve efficiency using specialised tools.
• Mentor junior team members and share best practices.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of proven experience in SEO and search‑marketing, preferably in the finance domain.
• Strong content‑strategist mindset with deep understanding of user intent and buying journeys.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across diverse teams.
