Senior Windows System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Windows System Administrator to join our IT team. The role focuses on managing Windows Server environments, Azure cloud services and related infrastructure. You will work closely with the system team to ensure reliable operation and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Microsoft Windows Server platforms, including Windows Server 2019 and 2022.
• Design, implement and support Azure cloud solutions such as Entra‑ID, hub‑spoke networks and landing zones.
• Configure, install and document system changes following existing procedures.
• Develop PowerShell scripts for automation and configuration management.
• Administer Microsoft 365 services including Office 365, Exchange Online and SharePoint.
• Maintain SQL Server 2019/2022 always‑on clusters and related databases.
• Provide support for virtualization platforms (VMware vSphere, vCenter) and storage technologies (SAN/NAS, Fibre Channel).
• Collaborate with the network team on DNS, TCP/IP, load balancers and other networking components.

Required profile

• Higher education (Bachelor or Master) in a technical or engineering field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Azure, PowerShell scripting and Windows Server administration.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD Connect and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Fluent Dutch at CEFR C2 level.
