Senior Tax Advisor – EAME Value-Chain Tax

About the role

ExxonMobil is seeking a Senior Tax Advisor to join its Europe, Africa and Middle East (EAME) Tax Center. Based in Machelen, Belgium, you will support indirect tax matters across the region’s affiliates and joint ventures, helping the business navigate complex international tax issues.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, develop and implement tax planning strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Stay current on tax laws, policies, regulations and industry trends.
• Analyze operations, transactions and investments to uncover tax issues, opportunities and risk‑management strategies.
• Provide practical guidance on recent legislation to the tax compliance organization.
• Advise business line and finance managers on major transactions, value defense and tax‑saving opportunities.

Required profile

• Experienced hands‑on tax professional with a strong background in indirect tax.
• Team‑player who can also work independently in a fast‑changing environment.
• Accountability and a “compete to win” mindset.
