Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Manager to lead end‑to‑end supply chain operations. You will ensure efficient, cost‑effective product delivery while upholding the highest quality standards and supporting the company’s mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all supply chain activities, including planning, procurement, production, and logistics.
• Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence.
• Manage Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) processes.
• Utilize ERP (SAP) and supply chain planning tools for optimal execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in the life‑sciences/pharmaceutical sector.
• Control budgets, financial performance, and inventory optimization.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and lead project implementations.

Required profile

• Advanced degree with 6+ years experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years experience in supply chain management.
• Minimum 5 years in a leadership role.
• Fluency in English and French.
• Strong analytical, data‑driven decision‑making and financial acumen.
• Proven success in a matrix organization and stakeholder management.

Required skills

• Expertise in SAP ERP and supply chain planning tools.
• APICS certifications (CPIM, CSCP) – preferred.
• Lean Six Sigma certification – preferred.
• Experience with SIOP, inventory optimization and demand planning.
• Proficiency in data analytics and reporting tools.
• Project management capabilities.
