Senior Sub-System Manager (English required)

About the role

ALTEN Belgium is seeking a Senior Sub‑System Manager to lead multidisciplinary projects for clients in Charleroi. The role requires fluent English (French a plus) and focuses on delivering complex engineering solutions across transport, energy, automotive and other sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Plan, budget, assess risks and coordinate with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce robust reporting, including monthly reviews and KPI tracking.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to resolve challenges and ensure project continuity.
• Represent the project in customer and partner interactions when required.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• 7–10 years of experience in project or work‑package management.
• Background in rail/transport, aerospace/defense, automotive or industrial projects.
• Experience working in multinational environments.
• Fluent English; French is an advantage.
