Senior Solutions Architect – Belgium Migration

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to lead the end‑to‑end architecture of the Belgium migration to the OMaaP platform. You will design scalable, secure, and resilient Java‑based enterprise solutions that align with our client’s architecture principles.

Key responsibilities

• Define solution blueprints, architecture decisions, API contracts, and integration patterns for the migration project.
• Design and review event‑driven architectures using Apache Kafka and asynchronous messaging.
• Collaborate with engineering, product owners, enterprise architects, and platform teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks during migration and propose mitigation strategies.
• Guide development teams through architecture reviews, design discussions, and implementation.
• Drive non‑functional requirements such as performance, scalability, security, observability, and resilience.
• Support production readiness, deployment strategy, and operational excellence.

Required profile

• 14+ years of experience in solution architecture and large‑scale system design.
• Proven track record of migrating legacy order‑management systems to cloud‑native architectures.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices, and API‑first design.
• Excellent communication skills to work with cross‑functional business and technical stakeholders.
