About the role

Mozilla is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Firefox Desktop Integrations team. You will own the development of installation, update and operating‑system integration features for Firefox on Windows and macOS, helping millions of users enjoy a seamless browser experience.

Key responsibilities

Design, implement and improve Firefox install, update and OS‑integration components.
Use data insights to guide enhancements to the installation experience.
Address platform‑specific challenges in low‑level OS integration on Windows and/or macOS.
Collaborate with a distributed team to scope, prioritize and deliver features.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions and own complex bug resolution.

Required profile

3‑5 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong systems‑level programming background on at least one major platform (Windows or macOS).
Solid C/C++ programming skills.
Effective communicator and collaborator in a distributed, open‑source environment.
