About the role
As a Senior Android Engineer at Tinder you will own the most visible parts of the Tinder app, shaping experiences that reach millions of users worldwide. You will work in a hybrid setting from our Ghent office, collaborating closely with product, design and other engineering teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design and implementation of consumer‑facing features in the Tinder Android app.
- Build new in‑app experiences that scale to a global user base.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with product managers, designers and other engineers to influence the roadmap.
- Create and maintain shared frameworks and libraries used across the mobile team.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional experience developing native Android applications.
- Strong track record of delivering high‑quality, performant mobile features.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and communicate with distributed teams.
