Senior Software Developer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join Sia’s transformation projects. The role combines strong back‑end development with front‑end contributions and a focus on cloud‑native, data‑intensive solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain scalable, secure back‑end applications, APIs and system integrations using Python, TypeScript/Node.js and frameworks such as Flask, Django, Spring Boot and Express.
• Build data and service layers with SQLAlchemy, Marshmallow and Alembic, and implement REST and GraphQL architectures.
• Support front‑end feature implementation using modern technologies like React, Angular, Vue.js, Vite, Next.js and Nuxt.js.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, containerised deployments and release processes with GitLab CI/CD, Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring code quality and observability.
• Apply algorithmic knowledge to large‑scale data processing using Apache Spark, Kafka, Airflow, Flink or Hadoop and design cloud‑native data platforms on Azure, AWS, GCP or Databricks.
• Participate in internal initiatives such as offer development, business development and team leadership.

Required profile

• Several years of professional experience in back‑end development with a solid understanding of front‑end technologies.
• Proven ability to work on complex digital transformation projects and to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Willingness to contribute to internal consulting activities and to take on leadership responsibilities.
