Senior Site Reliability Engineer (Liège, Belgium)

About the role

Gaming1 is looking for a senior Site Reliability Engineer to strengthen its Reliability Operations team in Liège. You will help design, build and evolve reliability platforms that enable product engineering teams to own the stability of their services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve observability, alerting and incident‑management tooling.
• Build self‑service reliability frameworks and golden‑path solutions for product teams.
• Drive adoption of SRE practices across the organisation, embedding reliability into delivery pipelines.
• Mentor engineers through pair programming, code reviews and knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Lead improvements in runbooks, post‑incident analysis and blameless post‑mortems.
• Reduce incident frequency and mean time to recovery through preventive, systemic changes.

Required profile

• Strong engineering background; formal education is a plus but not mandatory.
• 4+ years of experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or Platform Reliability Engineer.
• Proven ability to mentor and enable other engineers.
• Excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
