Senior Project Manager

About the role

ALTEN Belgium is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multi‑disciplinary programmes for laboratory and production environments. You will coordinate construction, technical operations, IT integration and human resources to deliver projects on time, within budget and to regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end programmes that include construction, technical operations, IT systems and HR aspects.
• Design and optimise laboratory/production layouts to improve workflow and turnaround times.
• Oversee multi‑year CAPEX/OPEX budgets of several million euros, ensuring profitability and business‑case delivery.
• Lead change management initiatives and provide technical guidance on laboratory infrastructure, equipment procurement and validation.
• Deploy or migrate LIMS solutions and integrate them with automated laboratory systems.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of project management experience, with at least two successful relocations or activity‑transfer projects.
• Availability for the full project duration (12‑18 months).
• Prince2, MSP or equivalent certification.
• Fluent in English and French.
