Senior Project Manager – Financial Services

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead transformation projects for a leading Belgian financial institution. The role is based within Nexeo, a consultancy serving the banking, finance and insurance sectors, and involves overseeing end‑to‑end project delivery from setup to hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives, scope, budget and timelines in collaboration with management and stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, road‑maps and governance structures.
• Organise sourcing, staffing and subcontracting, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
• Monitor progress, manage risks, issues and dependencies, and report status to steering committees.
• Coordinate deliverables across internal teams, suppliers and external partners to meet quality, scope and schedule targets.
• Facilitate smooth hand‑over of outcomes to operational teams and drive continuous improvement of project management practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree; project management certifications are a strong asset.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing complex projects in fast‑changing environments.
• Proven stakeholder management and communication abilities.
• Strong organisational, analytical and decision‑making capabilities.
