Senior Project Leadership Roles – Railway IT Transformation

About the role

Infrabel is hiring three senior project leadership professionals to drive Belgium’s railway IT transformation from its Ringstation II hub in Brussels. The positions combine Agile project management, functional analysis, and software development leadership across critical railway applications.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Agile projects and act as functional analyst for a portfolio of ~20 Java applications (TMS, ALEA, SIGW).
• Coordinate technical delivery of .NET, WebAPI, Angular and SQL Server/MySQL solutions.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams (5‑10 members) delivering traffic‑data software solutions.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget while controlling risks.
• Facilitate stakeholder communication and align IT initiatives with Infrabel’s strategic mission.

Required profile

• Senior IT project leader/analyst with extensive experience in large‑scale, mission‑critical systems.
• Proven ability to lead teams of 5‑20 professionals in an Agile/DevOps environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and French (oral/written) and proficient in English.
• Strong understanding of railway or transport‑sector IT challenges is a plus.
