Senior Mobile Developer (React Native) – Freelance

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile Developer to join a public‑sector digital team on a freelance basis. You will own the full lifecycle of React Native mobile applications, from design and development through automated testing, deployment and ongoing support.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain native and cross‑platform mobile apps using React Native for Android and iOS.
• Design, build, test and publish mobile applications to the Google Play and Apple App stores.
• Implement automated testing strategies and maintain testing frameworks.
• Configure and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure Pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimise app performance.
• Participate in code reviews and promote best‑practice development standards.
• Support release management and production deployments.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of professional mobile development experience (Android and/or iOS).
• Fluent Dutch (CEFR C2) – spoken and written.
• Proven experience working in Scrum or Agile teams.
• Strong problem‑solving, independent work and communication skills.
