Senior Manager – Transaction Advisory Services

About the role

Grant Thornton Belgium is seeking a Senior Manager for its Transaction Advisory Services practice. You will lead high‑impact engagements, advise C‑level clients on mergers, acquisitions and business transformations, and help shape the growth of the TAS team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end due diligence processes for mergers, acquisitions and refinancing projects, focusing on financial analysis, risk assessment and value creation.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, supporting critical strategic and financial decisions.
• Oversee and review valuations of companies and business units.
• Structure and manage complex acquisition and financing transactions.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering a high‑performing collaborative environment.
• Drive business development by strengthening client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
• Contribute to the strategic growth and positioning of the Transaction Advisory Services practice.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Transaction Advisory Services, Financial Audit or similar.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, with good knowledge of French.
• Strong commercial mindset with ability to identify and develop business opportunities.
• Excellent analytical skills and passion for solving complex financial challenges.
• Proven leadership and project management experience.
• Entrepreneurial, proactive and results‑driven attitude.
