Senior Information Security Engineer – Threat Detection & Response Readiness

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Information Security Engineer to lead our Threat Detection & Response Readiness program across Belgium, the Netherlands and France. You will shape incident response strategies, drive threat‑hunting initiatives and ensure our security operations stay ahead of emerging risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cyber incident response plans, procedures, and playbooks.
• Design, coordinate, and execute cyber incident response exercises and readiness tests.
• Assess threat intelligence and prioritize actions for Threat Hunting, Detection Engineering, and Incident Response teams.
• Act as a subject‑matter expert for Incident Response processes and tooling.
• Drive continuous improvements to Threat Detection & Response capabilities.
• Track and remediate gaps identified through exercises and assessments.
• Deliver security guidance and training to relevant stakeholders.

Required profile

• Strong experience in Cyber Incident Response and Security Operations.
• Deep knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix, TCP/IP networking, and security technologies.
• Experience with threat intelligence, threat detection, and response processes.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, international environment.
