Senior Functional Designer – Solution Architecture

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect / Functional Architect to join our Communication & Content Technologies department. You will design and evolve enterprise‑wide digital services that support document generation, communication, workflow orchestration, and archiving across multiple business domains.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and challenge business requirements to create end‑to‑end architectural solutions.
• Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and maintainable solution designs.
• Assess impact of proposed solutions on the existing enterprise landscape.
• Define target architecture aligned with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
• Produce functional flows, system interaction diagrams, business rules, UML diagrams and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with project managers, stakeholders, technical architects and development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Design enterprise integration solutions using modern integration patterns.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies and mitigation strategies.
• Contribute to enterprise architecture governance, standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Solution Architect or Functional Architect in complex, large‑scale enterprise environments.
• Strong ability to bridge business requirements and technical implementation.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders and legacy systems.
• Autonomous, self‑driven with a strong sense of ownership and excellent communication skills.
