About the role

Polarscope is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to lead the development of complex, high‑impact features across multiple projects. You will work closely with design, strategy, production, and back‑end teams to turn creative concepts into scalable, performant web experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Lead development of complex front‑end features and interfaces.
• Architect and implement scalable front‑end solutions within broader systems.
• Balance performance, accessibility, and maintainability in technical decisions.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks early in the development cycle.
• Collaborate closely with design, strategy, production, and back‑end teams.
• Communicate technical rationale and trade‑offs to diverse audiences.
• Own the quality and integrity of deliverables within workstreams.
• Improve workflows, tooling, and documentation to boost team efficiency.
• Review code, provide constructive feedback, and mentor junior developers.
• Share knowledge, patterns, and best practices across teams.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in front‑end or full‑stack development, with leadership experience a plus.
• Advanced proficiency with modern front‑end frameworks and tooling.
• Strong understanding of APIs, data integration, and system architecture.
