Senior Fabrication Supervisor – Coating Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Senior Fabrication Supervisor to lead coating activities and support offshore wind projects at our fabrication yard in Arendonk, Belgium. The role is contract‑based for an initial 18‑month period and involves close collaboration with cross‑functional teams and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as Coating Fabrication Inspector / Supervisor, holding qualifications such as Frosio Level III, NACE Level 2‑3 or ICORR Painting Inspector Level 3.
• Oversee coating work on secondary structures (boat landings, ladders, etc.) and provide supervision for welding, NDT, assembly and material logistics.
• Ensure compliance with technical standards, quality, safety and delivery schedules.
• Plan and schedule inspections to maintain a 40‑hour work week, with occasional weekend spot checks approved by the Fabrication Manager.
• Report to the Fabrication Manager(s) for Secondary Steel based in Denmark and support suppliers in product delivery.
• Use provided laptop, phone and PPE; supply own work clothes until company‑issued attire is received.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in heavy‑duty or offshore fabrication, pre‑assembly or construction sites.
• Strong technical knowledge, adaptability and ability to work both independently and in teams.
• Fluent English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Residence near the Arendonk yard is preferred.
• Willingness to adjust schedule as needed in coordination with the Fabrication Manager.
