Senior Driving Instructor – Training & Coaching

About the role

As a Senior Driving Instructor for bpost, you will lead the training of employees and external staff in the Charleroi region, ensuring high standards of road safety and driving competence. You will also mentor new instructors and support the operational needs of the driving school.

Key responsibilities

• Assess the driving aptitude of bpost employees and external personnel.
• Design and deliver theoretical and practical training for B and CE licences, both in‑person and online.
• Coach candidates to maximise their chances of passing driving exams.
• Conduct mandatory driving examinations for bpost staff.
• Stay up‑to‑date with Belgian and EU regulations governing driver training.
• Provide operational support to the driving school and training centre.
• Assist aspiring instructors in obtaining their instructor licence (brevet II).

Required profile

• Strong coaching and pedagogical abilities.
• Flexibility to travel across Brussels, Charleroi and Liège and adapt schedules to candidates.
• High degree of autonomy and decision‑making capability.
• Holding the necessary authorisations to deliver professional driving training is an advantage.

Required skills

• Driving instruction for B and CE vehicle categories.
• In‑depth knowledge of Belgian and European driving‑training regulations.
