Senior DevOps Engineer (Ansible)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Ansible to drive automation, deployment and ongoing maintenance of mission‑critical enterprise applications. The position is based in Brussels and operates in a hybrid model within an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain Ansible playbooks and AWX pipelines for infrastructure and application provisioning.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and/or GitLab CI/CD (Pipeline as Code).
• Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes, OpenShift and Helm.
• Administer Linux systems, manage source control with Git, and script automation using Bash and Python (FastAPI).
• Monitor performance and availability using Elastic Stack, Grafana and Zabbix, and enforce code quality and security with SonarQube, Fortify and Trivy.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams through Jira, Xray and Confluence, following Scrum practices.

Required profile

• 10+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience in production environments.
• Fluent English (C1) and native French or Dutch with working knowledge of the other language.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/Scrum teams.
