Senior DevOps Engineer – Ansible (Brussels)

About the role

Infrabel is modernising the digital backbone of Belgium’s railway network and is looking for senior DevOps professionals to join two long‑term projects in Brussels. The positions focus on building and operating highly available, automated infrastructure that supports real‑time traffic‑management applications.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code pipelines using Ansible and AWX.
• Develop CI/CD workflows with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins for containerised applications.
• Manage Docker, Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters, ensuring scalability and reliability.
• Monitor systems, collect logs and metrics, and troubleshoot incidents.
• Lead technical teams, drive Agile delivery and enforce DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• 10 + years of professional experience in DevOps or application operations.
• EU citizenship (as required by the employer).
• Fluent in English (C1) and French or Dutch (C1) for the first role; native French or Dutch with strong English for the second.
• Proven experience in leading large‑scale automation projects.
