Senior Data & AI Governance Consultant

About the role

As a Senior Data & AI Governance Consultant within the Lighthouse team, you will lead multidisciplinary transformation programmes where governance is essential for building trust, scalability and business value. You will work with senior stakeholders to design, operationalise and scale end‑to‑end data and AI governance frameworks that meet regulatory requirements and support innovative outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Design governance strategies, operating models and policies across the data and AI lifecycle, translating regulatory and business needs into actionable roadmaps.
• Enable scalable, automated governance by embedding governance‑by‑design into data pipelines, AI lifecycles and business processes, and creating monitoring, reporting and auditing capabilities.
• Lead tooling selection and implementation (e.g., Collibra, Microsoft Purview, Informatica) and ensure alignment with data quality, lineage, ownership and security standards.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leaders (CDO, CIO, CRO, AI leads), translating complex risks into clear recommendations.
• Contribute to growth by supporting proposals, developing reusable assets such as playbooks and accelerators, and driving innovation in AI governance.
• Coach teams, facilitate cross‑functional collaboration and help build a strong governance community within Lighthouse.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a consultant specialising in Data & AI governance.
• Strong ability to engage senior stakeholders and deliver tangible outcomes.
• Deep understanding of regulatory requirements and how they translate into governance capabilities.
