Senior Consultant – Strategy & Transformation in Banking

About the role

BDO is seeking a Senior Consultant to lead strategy and transformation initiatives for banking clients. You will work closely with banks to drive operational excellence, reduce costs, and embed digital solutions that improve quality and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead agile projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Support change management and adoption of new solutions, tailored to client culture.
• Identify and implement process‑optimization, automation, and AI opportunities.
• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable application improvements.
• Guide banks toward straight‑through processing and modernized digital workflows.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in banking, consulting, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of banking services such as lending, daily banking, or payments.
• Proven analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French (native) and very good in the other language, plus fluency in English.
• Ability to spot new project opportunities and contribute to sales activities.
