Senior Consultant Indirect Tax Technology

About the role

EY’s Indirect Tax Technology team helps multinational organisations automate and optimise their indirect tax processes. As a Senior Consultant you will work on large‑scale finance and tax transformation projects, leveraging ERP and third‑party tax solutions to improve the efficiency of tax departments.

Key responsibilities

• Support clients in designing and implementing indirect tax technology solutions (SAP, Thomson Reuters, Vertex, SOVOS, etc.).
• Translate indirect tax requirements into technical configurations within ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft D365).
• Collaborate with cross‑functional tax and consulting teams to deliver high‑quality work aligned with business metrics.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for further engagement.
• Contribute to the growth of the Indirect Tax Technology practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a business‑related discipline (e.g., Economics, Engineering, IT, Accounting, Tax).
• Minimum three years of relevant experience in indirect tax compliance, advisory, e‑invoicing or e‑reporting.
• Fluency in Dutch, French or English.
• Strong interest in technology and its application to business processes.
• Excellent communication and client‑service skills.
