Senior Business Analyst – eCommerce DataHub

About the role

We are seeking a senior Business Analyst to lead the design and implementation of our eCommerce DataHub. The role works across policy, legal, business and technical teams to translate complex requirements into clear, testable specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, analyse and document business and IT system requirements.
• Engage with user communities (Member States administrations, traders, internal users) to elicit needs and create user stories, use cases and acceptance criteria.
• Support the preparation of functional specifications and manage refinements throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Contribute to data model design, information flows and event‑driven solutions.
• Facilitate communication, governance and decision‑making across policy, legal, business and technical stakeholders.
• Analyse business workflows and service usage to identify inefficiencies, risks and optimisation opportunities.

Required profile

• 5–7 years of experience in business or data analysis, preferably in service‑oriented or operationally intensive environments.
• Certifications in business analysis, data analytics or ITSM are considered assets.
• Proven experience working in agile delivery environments and fast‑paced transformation projects.
