Senior AWS Architect – Financial Services

About the role

Aubay is seeking a Senior AWS Architect to join a leading financial institution in Brussels. You will shape secure, scalable, and innovative cloud solutions that align with the business vision and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design and validate cloud‑native solutions, frameworks, platforms, and toolchains for development teams.
• Create and maintain high‑quality architecture documentation, including blueprints and reference architectures.
• Provide expert guidance on scalable, resilient design patterns and cloud‑native best practices.
• Select and recommend technical solutions using AWS, continuous delivery, and infrastructure automation to ensure security, performance, and developer friendliness.
• Apply project‑management methodologies to meet deadlines and support delivery.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in AWS and cloud‑native application design (microservices, containers, APIs).
• Strong background in DevOps toolchains, CI/CD pipelines, GitOps, and infrastructure automation.
• Experience improving developer experience (DevEx) through tools, platforms, and workflows.
• Fluent in English and Dutch or French, both oral and written.
