Senior Auditor – Roeselare/Gent

About the role

BDO is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Roeselare/Gent office. You will work with a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from multinational corporations to innovative start‑ups, turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex audit engagements, acting as the primary point of contact for clients.
• Develop and maintain strong, professional relationships with clients, asking the right questions to deliver valuable advice.
• Prepare detailed audit procedures and working papers that meet high professional standards.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering their technical growth.
• Stay current with audit standards and techniques through BDO Academy and external training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering or a related field; additional financial‑economic qualifications are a plus.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with strong technical and client‑management capabilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English; additional languages are advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills, strong analytical mindset, curiosity, and flexibility.
