Senior Auditor – Brussels

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Auditor to join our Brussels team. You will work on diverse audit engagements, turning complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for a wide range of clients, from multinational corporations to innovative start‑ups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee complex audit projects, ensuring high‑quality deliverables.
• Develop and execute robust audit procedures and detailed working papers.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, communicating findings and recommendations effectively.
• Mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and fostering their professional growth.
• Stay current with audit standards and techniques through BDO Academy and external training.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Economics, Business Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of audit experience with strong technical and client‑management abilities.
• Fluent in Dutch or French and English; additional languages are a plus.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and curiosity to dig deep into financial matters.
