Senior Associate Lawyer – Public Law

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate Lawyer specialized in Public Law to join its legal services team in Brussels. The role involves delivering comprehensive legal advice to internal stakeholders and external clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and mitigating legal risks across a range of public‑sector matters.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance on public‑law issues, including regulatory compliance, policy interpretation and risk assessment.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts, agreements and policy documents for public‑sector clients.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to align legal solutions with business objectives and project deliverables.
• Monitor legislative developments and advise on their impact on client operations.
• Support senior partners in managing complex legal disputes and litigation matters.

Required profile

• Proven experience in public‑law practice, preferably within a large professional services firm.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret complex legal frameworks and translate them into actionable advice.
• Excellent communication skills and the capacity to build trusted relationships with clients and internal teams.
• Self‑driven, comfortable working in ambiguous situations and able to anticipate client needs.
