Senior Associate Lawyer in IP/IT and Data

About the role

PwC Legal is looking for a Senior Associate Lawyer to join its IP/IT and Data practice in Brussels. You will work within a multidisciplinary team of over 50 lawyers, supporting clients on complex technology‑related legal matters across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Bridge law and technology by participating in international, multidisciplinary projects.
• Provide expert advice on intellectual property, IT, digital products, e‑commerce, cyber‑security, cloud services, software licences, data protection and privacy.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements for IP, digital products, platform development, R&D collaborations and gig‑economy arrangements.
• Identify legal risks in IP, IT and data matters and conduct due‑diligence for M&A transactions.
• Monitor and interpret new regulations such as the EU Digital Package and emerging digital legislation.
• Leverage digital tools and technologies to deliver efficient legal services.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law with a specialization in IP and/or IT.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in IP/IT and data law.
• Fluent in Dutch (native or bilingual) with very good English and knowledge of French.
• Proactive team player comfortable in international, multidisciplinary environments.
• Strong client‑orientation, analytical, communication and drafting abilities.
• Self‑motivated learner who stays abreast of technology trends and regulatory developments.
