About the role
The Joint Intelligence and Security Division (JISD) at NATO HQ is seeking a Senior Analyst to provide cyber‑related intelligence assessments focused on the Middle East, particularly Iran. The role involves close coordination with internal and external stakeholders and contributes to NATO’s strategic decision‑making.
Key responsibilities
- Produce ad‑hoc briefings and intelligence assessments on emerging cyber events in the Middle East.
- Develop longer‑term strategic analyses and reports for senior NATO decision‑makers.
- Coordinate with the Cyber Threat Analysis Branch and other NATO intelligence entities.
- Monitor cyber threats, trends, and activities relevant to the region.
- Collaborate across the NATO Intelligence Enterprise to ensure situational awareness.
Required profile
- University degree in political science, international relations, security studies, statistics, data science, computer science or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cyber operations/analysis, intelligence collection/analysis, or data analytics.
- Demonstrable expertise on Middle‑East security and cyber issues.
- Advanced proficiency (V) in English or French and beginner (I) level in the other NATO official language.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

What we offer
- Grade G17‑G20 NATO staff position.
- Monthly salary of €8,273.12 (subject to budget approval).
- Full‑time permanent contract based in Brussels.
