Seed Production & Logistics Support (m/f/d)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Seed Production and Logistics Support professional to join the regional OSR Seed Production management team. The role involves handling seed production transactions, quality analysis requests, SAP processing, sample handling, certification, logistics and field tasks to deliver high‑quality commercial OSR seed on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage basic seed shipment for commercial seed production to multipliers, including SAP transactions, master‑data creation, documentation and physical preparation within agreed deadlines.
• Execute seed handling for grow‑out tests in Belgium, Italy and contra‑season, and store incoming seed lots for two production seasons.
• Process quality‑analysis requests in the quality management system for parental lines and commercial OSR seed, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality parameters.
• Carry out seed certification activities: declaration, registration and labeling of production lots for OSR parental lines during the growing season.
• Handle OSR purchase orders, invoices and payments related to supply‑chain, field and seed‑production agreements.
• Conduct OSR seed production activities for pre‑basic, basic and commercial seed to meet production plan objectives in Belgium and the EU.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Agriculture or equivalent with 3‑5 years of relevant experience.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French knowledge is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with MS Office, SAP and StarLims.
• Experience in seed production is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational, planning and detail‑orientation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Proven capacity to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Positive, proactive attitude toward new responsibilities and challenges.
• Flexibility in working hours and willingness to travel internationally when required.
