Security Event Analyst – First Line (FLSEA)

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a First Line Security Event Analyst (FLSEA) to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brussels. You will be the initial point of contact for security alerts, analysing logs and network traffic to assess severity and trigger appropriate escalations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform initial analysis of security logs and network traffic.
• Determine alert severity and escalate incidents according to defined procedures.
• Collect, correlate and document relevant information for each event.
• Present findings in a clear, structured format and provide remediation recommendations.
• Collaborate with senior analysts and NCIA teams to ensure timely response.

Required profile

• Experience analysing security logs and network traffic.
• Ability to assess alert severity and follow escalation protocols.
• Strong written communication skills for clear reporting.
• Willingness to work in a NATO‑related environment.
