Security Consultant

About the role

Accenture is seeking a Security Consultant to join its Cyber Security practice in Brussels. You will advise clients on their security posture, design and implement tailored solutions, and help shape Accenture’s security service portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Assess client environments, perform gap analyses and develop roadmaps aligned with industry standards.
• Design and implement security solutions across governance, identity, cloud, operations and application domains.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on client sites to deliver end‑to‑end security programs.
• Monitor emerging threats, technologies and regulations to provide innovative recommendations.
• Contribute to proposals, thought leadership pieces and the evolution of Accenture’s security offerings.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of hands‑on experience in one or more cybersecurity domains.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business language.
• Experience in consulting or client‑facing roles is a plus.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CCSP, CyberArk Defender, Azure/AWS Security) are valued.

Required skills

• ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2 frameworks.
• IAM/PAM tools such as CyberArk, BeyondTrust, SailPoint.
• Cloud security for AWS, Azure, GCP, including CSPM and DevSecOps.
• SIEM platforms like Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, QRadar.
• Secure SDLC, OWASP, penetration testing, vulnerability management.
• Data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and DLP strategies.
• Threat intelligence, IOC analysis and proactive hunting.
• Firewall, zero‑trust architecture, endpoint security and network segmentation.
