Sea Freight Export Specialist – LCL Gateway

About the role

As a member of the Freight Forwarding team at Kuehne+Nagel, you will coordinate Less‑than‑Container Load (LCL) export shipments, ensuring smooth transport execution and high‑quality service for customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate export LCL shipments and consolidations to guarantee efficient transport execution.
• Review shipment requirements, routing options and compliance standards to support seamless sea‑freight operations.
• Maintain accurate shipment data and ensure information quality across internal systems.
• Prepare and validate transport and shipping documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, carriers, co‑loaders and other logistics partners.
• Identify and resolve operational challenges while supporting service quality, efficiency and profitability.

Required profile

• Experience in freight forwarding, preferably in sea freight or export operations.
• Familiarity with LCL, gateway operations, consolidation planning or transport planning is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and organizational abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with attention to detail and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective collaboration with diverse supply‑chain stakeholders.
• Fluent English communication; Dutch is a plus.
