SAP Advanced Business Application Programming Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP CPI / ABAP Integration Expert to support a major public transportation organization undergoing a large‑scale SAP S/4HANA transformation. The role focuses on maintaining the existing SAP ECC landscape while designing and implementing cloud‑oriented integration solutions for the migration to S/4HANA.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain SAP solutions, adapting existing code for the ECC ➝ S/4HANA migration.
• Develop and integrate web services using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI).
• Manage interfaces between SAP and external systems, ensuring performance, security, and reliability.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Provide workload estimates, support project planning, and participate in migration activities.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, optimise system performance, and contribute to documentation and knowledge transfer.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of SAP development experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree in IT, engineering, or equivalent.
