Sales Engineer – Pre‑Sales (Belgium)

About the role

Alan is looking for a Sales Engineer to join its Pre‑Sales team in Belgium. You will act as the technical bridge between prospects and the sales organization, helping to translate complex healthcare insurance solutions into clear business value.

Key responsibilities

• Master Alan’s platform and provide sales teams with insights, expertise and the right tools.
• Listen to prospect needs, assess functional alignment and propose tailored solutions.
• Participate in RFP processes, coordinating responses with sales, insurance and product experts.
• Evangelize Alan’s services throughout the customer acquisition journey.
• Serve as the voice of the customer, feeding product roadmap decisions.
• Prepare handovers and ensure smooth, delightful onboarding experiences.
• Coordinate complex onboarding projects and share best practices across the European team.
• Lead and shape pre‑sales strategy for the most sophisticated deals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pre‑sales or technical sales within enterprise or public‑sector environments.
• Strong ability to understand and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Track record of handling complex, high‑value deals.
