Sales Development Representative (Hybrid, Ghent)

About the role

Optimile, a leading software provider for the electric‑vehicle charging industry, is looking for a proactive Sales Development Representative. Based in Ghent and working in a hybrid model, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to expand Optimile’s market presence across existing and new territories.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own prospecting targets, identify opportunities in new markets and continuously improve outreach performance.
• Engage prospects through LinkedIn, email, phone and other channels; qualify inbound and outbound leads.
• Hand over qualified opportunities to Account Executives and maintain an accurate CRM pipeline.
• Provide first‑line product and service information to prospects.
• Collaborate with the growth marketer to optimise campaigns, messaging and targeting.
• Support commercial activities such as events, marketing materials and sales operations, including tender processes.

Required profile

• Experience in outbound sales, lead generation or a customer‑facing commercial role.
• Data‑driven mindset with the ability to set realistic goals, monitor pipelines and adjust tactics.
• Strong communication skills, organised and able to juggle multiple priorities.
• Fluent in Dutch, French and English.
• Interest in technology, SaaS and e‑mobility.
